Hazel Juanita Peters, 63, Duffield, VA passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.
Hazel was born in Scott County, VA on January 20, 1951 to the late James Washington and Elva Jane Dickerson Peters.
In addition to her parents; her infant sister, Eddie Jane Peters; her brothers, Marvin, Emerson, Emily John and Emile Craft Peters preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sister, Eula Winston and husband, David, Duffield, VA; brothers, Steve Peters, Blackwater, VA, Dewey Peters and wife, Janice, Duffield, VA; cousin, Dustin Winston and wife, Barbara, Duffield, VA, Chris Winston and wife, Christina, Gate City, VA; along with several other cousins.
The family will receive friends from 11-1p.m., Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. Patsy Hensley and Dustin Winston will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted following the service Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Bledsoe Cemetery in the Beech Grove Community of Fairview, VA. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
