Charlie Buren (C.B.) Peters, Jr., 60, Ft. Blackmore, VA passed away, Thursday, May 6, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Peters was born in Scott County, VA on February 28, 1950, a son of the late Charlie Buron Peters, Sr. and the late Gladys Pauline Presley Peters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Peters Lane and half sister Marie Parris.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Hall Peters, Ft. Blackmore, VA; son, Clint Peters and wife, Robin, Ft. Blackmore, VA; grandchildren, Jordan and Peyton Peters; sisters, Pauline Rhea, Kingsport, TN, Nancy Gillenwater, and husband, Fred, Ft. Blackmore, VA, Ella Sue Deakins, Kingsport, TN, and Jean Carter, and husband, David, Ft. Blackmore, VA; half sister, Lorena Hayes, Georgia, along with several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at the Edwards Cemetery in the Hill Station community of Scott County, VA at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010 with the Rev. Willie Neeley and the Rev. Allen Hensley officiating. Patsy Hensley will provide the music.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
