Billie Perry, 75, Ft. Blackmore, VA passed away, Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

Mr. Perry was born in Scott County, VA on February 8, 1937 to the late Carl and Maude Perry.

In addition to his parents, his brothers, John Rasnake and Bobby Ray Perry preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Valice Perry, Ft. Blackmore, VA; daughters, Peggy Archer and husband, Benny, Tina Gibson and husband, Jim; sons; Billie Perry and wife, Terri, Timmie Perry and wife, Wendy and Michael Perry; sister Nina Feathers, brothers, Roy Perry, Lester Perry, Scotty Perry and James Perry . Mr. Perry had 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday July 15, 2012 at the Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. James Mann and Jeff Gibson officiating. The music will be provided by James McConnell. Graveside services will be held at the Carter Cemetery on Sunday July 15, 2012 following the funeral services. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
