Patricia Joyce Pendleton – Maryville, TN Patricia Joyce Pendleton, 52, Kingsport, TN passed away, Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in Nickelsville, VA at the residence of her parents of an apparent acute heart attack. Ms. Pendleton was born in Sullivan County, TN on September 27, 1958, the daughter of Howard Fields and Ruth Addington Fields. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Collins. Surviving is her son, Josh Collins and wife, Stephanie, Maryville, TN; granddaughter, Reese Ann Collins; mother, Ruth Fields, Nickelsville, VA; father, Howard Fields, Nickelsville, VA; sister, Amy Williams, Nickelsville, VA; brothers, Eddie Fields, Nickelsville, VA and Michael Fields, Nickelsville, VA; along with several niece, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with a eulogy given by her son, Josh Collins. Graveside services will be conducted by Dr. Emily Anderson at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m., Friday to go in procession to the graveside service.
