Patricia Ann (Quillen) Hull- Amell- Jonesborough, TN

Patricia Ann (Quillen) Hull- Amell, 71, Jonesborough, TN, passed away, Saturday, March 23, 2024, at her home after a long battle with cancer. 

Patty was born in Kingsport, TN, on October 24, 1952, to the late Kyle Farris Quillen, and Gladys Lorene Quillen (Mann). 

Patty retired along with her spouse of 35 years, Larry Amell, owner of Rocky Top Campground for 15 years. She loved her family and was an amazing sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was an amazing, loving, caring person that simply loved life itself. 

In addition to her parents, her grandmother, Verna Mann preceded her in death. 

Left to cherish her memory are her loving spouse of 35 years, Lawrence Amell (Larry), Jonesborough, TN; children, Mark Hull and wife, Lori, Jonesborough, TN, Matthew Hull, Jonesborough, TN; stepson, Larry Amell, Jr., Jonesborough, TN; sisters, Linda Quillen Parker, (and son, Cody), Mount Carmel, TN, Cathy D. Quillen, Kingsport, TN, Angel Kilgore, Kingsport, TN, Kyla Hounshell, Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Brittany Hull, Brooke Laws, Haley Hull, Bailey Casey, Alex Hull, Cheyenne Wright, Dustyn Hull, Reece Hull, and Barbara Maynor; great-grandchildren, Noah, Karson, Olivia, Reagan, Zoey, and Wyatt; sisters-in-law, Connie Maynor, and Ruth Burdick; best friends and aunts, Louella (Tottle) Pendleton, Darlene Bohanan (Donnie), Thelma Mann (Bill), Rose Napier, and Brenda Mann (RV), and Joyce (Johnny); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 7:30p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Johnny Duncan officiating. Tammy and Danny Napier will provide the music. 

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00a.m., Friday, March 29, 2024, at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15a.m., to go in procession to the graveside service. 

Cody Parker, Dustyn Hull, Reece Hull, Brandon Daly, Ricky Hale, Larry Amell, Jr., and Alex Hull will serve as pallbearers.
