Mrs. Sylvia Orr, age 88 of Conyers, GA died Thursday, February 7, 2013.
Mrs. Orr graduated from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. She was a member of Rockdale Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Orr and parents, Walton and Molly Robinette.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Orr (Charles) Simmons, Conyers; sons, Charles H. (Mary Ann) Orr, Cave City, KY, Robert (Luci) Orr, Sautee Nacoochee, GA; brother, Frank (Madge) Robinette, Harlan, KY; grandchildren, Alana and Matt McGuire, Charles A. Orr, Robert Orr, Jr., Christina Orr.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013 in the Juanita S. Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home Funeral Home, Gate City, VA
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Robinette Family Cemetery, Fairview, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Rockdale Baptist Church, 1295 Smyrna Road, Conyers, GA 30094.
