Shirley Ann Nufio, 58, Elizabethton, TN passed away, Saturday, December 4, 2010 in Elizabethton, TN.
Mrs. Nufio was born in Scott County on August 25, 1952 to Doyle Ray and Myrtle Cleo Gilliam Vaughn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hector Nufio, and a brother, Marlin Vaughn.
In addition to her parents, Doyle and Myrtle Vaughn, Duffield, VA, she is survived by her daughter, Dawn M. Hinkle and husband, Larry, Kingsport, TN; son, James R. Cornwell and wife, Amy, Bristol, VA; grandchildren, Alicia Berry, Savannah Sexton, Kelsie Cornwell, Austin Hinkle, and Brittney Hinkle; great grandson, Payton Lewis; sisters, Margaret Coral McComas, Duffield, VA, Glenda Reams and husband, Ron, Baltimore, MD, Carolyn Singleton and husband, Charles, Duffield, VA, and Patricia Egan and husband, Dexter, Duffield, VA; brother, Roger Vaughn and wife, Brenda, Duffield, VA; special friend, Barbara O'Malley, and children, Taylor O'Malley, Amber Ward, and Irelynn Ward, Elizabethton, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Pentecostal Power House, Gate City, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Rev. Dwayn Williams and Rev. Adam Williams officiating. The Pentecostal Power House Church Singers will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Adams Cemetery, Duffield, VA.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
