Mrs. Pauline Powers Noe, 83, Duffield, VA passed away, Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Ridgecrest Manor, Duffield, VA.
Mrs. Noe was born in Scott County, VA on December 31, 1928 to the late Kelly and Goldia Smith Powers. In addition to her parents, her husband, Charles Curtis Noe, and brothers, Bud Powers, Omar Lee Powers, Elmer Powers, and Donald Powers preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, Bill W. Noe and wife, Debbie, Kingsport, TN, Charles L. Noe and wife, Kathie, Gate City, VA, and Danny C. Noe and wife, Betty, Blackwater, VA; daughters, Carolyn Noe Horton and husband, Philip D. Horton, Blackwater, VA and Lora Noe Atkins and husband, Hank, Carrollton, VA; grandchildren, Heather Becker, Philip Matthew Horton, Aaron Noe, LaNae Bogan, Tracy Noe, Dustin Nelson, Lucas Atkins, and Heath Noe; 11 great grandchildren, ; one great great grandchild; sister, Marie Powers Noe, Richmond, VA; brother, Ronald Powers and wife, Nancy, Clinchport, VA; sisters-in-law, Ernestine Powers, Gate City, VA, Sue Powers, CA, Ruth Powers, Kingsport, TN, and Shirley Powers, Duffield, VA; along with several nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends Ruth Clark and family.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m, Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley and Evangelist Garry Hood officiating.
Burial will follow at the Powers Cemetery, Duffield, VA. Grandsons and Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Friends are welcome to visit at the family home after the burial.
