Nina Lois Darnell, 77, Gate City, VA, passed away, Monday, November 25, 2024, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

Nina was born in Scott County, VA, on October 27, 1947, to the late John M. Summey, and Grace L. Strong Summey.

In addition to her parents, several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews, precede her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, David Summey; granddaughter, Tyria Talbott (Dustin); great-grandchildren, Jace and Natalie Talbott; sister, Wilma Dean (Ronnie); brothers, Tommy Summey (Debbie), and Donnie Summey; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00a.m., Friday, November 29, 2024, at the Begley Cemetery, Fort Blackmore, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
