Lillie Belle Neely, 82, Kingsport, TN entered into rest, Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.
Mrs. Neely was born in Lee County, VA on June 19, 1929, the daughter of the late Charlie Ray and Lelia Johnson Bowen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Neely, a sister, Phyllis Bowen McConnell; and a brother, Cecil Kyle Bowen.
She is survived by her daughters, Thelma Ann Mann and husband, Bill, Hiltons, VA and Jacqueline Hurley and husband, Dwayne, Lawrenceville, GA; son, Joe Thomas Neely and wife, Gaye, Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Kimberly Keene, Jenny Mann, and Jason Mann; great grandchild, Neely Aretta Keene; sister, Wilma Bishop and husband, Fred, Duffield, VA; sister-in-law, Irene Bowen, Weber City, VA; friend and confidant, Robert E. "Bob" Jones, Kingsport, TN; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Harris and Pastor Todd Adams officiating.
Burial will follow the services at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
