John Steven Mullins, 69, Vero Beach, FL passed away on July 11, 2022, at Indian River Hospital, in Vero Beach, Florida.
John was born in Sullivan County, TN on April 16, 1953, to the late Jesse Earnest Mullins and Edith Necessary Mullins.
Along with his parents, his son Ernest “Ernie” Mullins; brothers David and Dennis Mullins; paternal grandparents, William and Julia Mullins, and maternal grandparents, Bobby and Mary Necessary preceded him in death.
John is survived by his sons Joshua Mullins and Derek Mullins; daughter, Jessica Mullins (Jessica Hubbs); aunts, Sue Turner (RJ), Betsy France; uncle, Jack Mullins (Carol); grandchildren, Tyler Bishop; nephew, Jeremy Mullins; along with several cousins. John is also survived by a special friend Connie Owens.
The family will receive friends from 12-2p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2022, in the Gene Falin Memorial chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home. Preacher Billy Tignor will be officiating. Graveside services will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA.
