Clarice Dicy Million, 99, Kingsport, TN passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Indian Path Medical Center.
Mrs. Million was born in Scott County, VA on September 10, 1911 to the late Andy and Alba Penley Ervin.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Joe Million; daughters, Nancy, Teresa, and Mary Lou Million, Jane Casteel, and Kate Williams; sons, Glen, Tony, Tommy, Ronnie, Ricky, T.R., and Kemp; grandsons, Tony Million, Scott Collier, and Robby Collier; sisters, Sara Head, Alice Bellamy, Gladys Ervin, Hulda Williams, Blanche Ervin, and Olene McNew; and brothers, Wright Ervin, Loren Ervin, and Charlie Ervin preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Collier, Kingsport, TN, Sue Hawkins and husband, Wayne, Hiltons, VA, Sharon Blair and husband, Scotty, Kingsport, TN; daughters-in-law, Wilma Million, Kingsport, TN and Becky Million, Church Hill, TN; 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her daughter, Betty Collier. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Andy Sensabaugh the Rev. Ed McClain officiating. True Faith Quartet will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Ervin Cemetery in the Manville community of Scott County, VA. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
