Gate City, VA ? Anna Miller, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born January 21, 1925 to the late William Ray Mullins and Julia Horton Mullins.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, R.J. Miller; great grandson, William Paul Templeton; sister, Lou Belle Bishop; brothers, Earnest, Don, Malcolm Mullins.
Survivors include her husband, Rufus Miller; Gate City, VA; daughter, Sandra Robinson, Gate City, VA; step daughter, Darla Miller, Mt. Carmel, TN; grandchildren, Anthony and Tammy Templeton, Richard Templeton, Leanne and Scott Vermillion, Tommy and Amy Collins; great grandchildren, Dustin, Joel, Talea, Richard Jay and Amanda Templeton, Drew and Sophie Vermillion; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betsy and Paul France, Clinchport, VA, Sue and R.J. Turner, Mt. Carmel, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Carol Mullins, Gate City, VA;; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be at 8 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jeff DeBoard and Rev. Mark Estepp officiating. Music will be provided by Stanley Rogers, Dennis Fritz and Andrea Shepard.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2008 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. The family will meet at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, great grandsons and nephews.
