Mima "Lucille" McNutt – Kingsport, TN
Mrs. Mima Lucille McNutt, 65, Kingsport, TN passed away, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at her residence.
Mrs. McNutt was born in Fort Blackmore, VA on August 13, 1945, the daughter of the late Aurther Lee and Nora Begley Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Bobby Hall, Ed Hall, Fred Hall, and Jimmy Lee Hall.
Surviving is her husband, James Warner McNutt, Kingsport, TN; daughter, Bobbie Newsome and husband, Chris, Kingsport, TN; sons, James Darnell and wife, Janice, Kingsport, TN and Mike Darnell, Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Bindi Newsome, Jessica Darnell, and Ashley Darnell; sisters, Kate Stout, Kingsport, TN and Florence Kinsler; brothers, Roy Hall, Rock Creek, OH and Arvil Orsbin and wife, Lucy, Willowick, OH; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Lee Knowles officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Chestnut Flats Church Cemetery, Hiltons, VA. Chris Newsome, Mike Darnell, Jack McNutt, Shawn Stout, Rowdy McNutt, and Brandon Bledsoe will serve as pallbearers. Tommy Stout , Lane Newsome, and Roy McClellan will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
