Billy Eugene McCracken – Duffield, VA Billy Eugene McCracken, 56, Duffield, VA passed away, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Wellmont Lonesome Pine Hospital. Mr. McCracken was born in Bristol, VA on January 21, 1955, the son of the late Paul and Birtie Lane McCracken. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vonda Sue Laney McCracken. He is survived by his sisters, Juanita McCracken, Gate City, VA, Freda Estep and husband, Gerald, Hilton, VA, and Janie Frye, Gate City, VA; brothers, Johnny McCracken and wife, Cathy, Gate City, VA and Gary Wayne McCracken, Gate City, VA; along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2011 at the Brickey Cemetery on the John Brickey farm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service. Following the graveside the family will receive friends Johnny McCracken's residence for a Celebration of the Life of Billy McCracken service.
