Gate City, VA ? Frances Elizabeth McClellan, 79, died Friday, February 22, 2008.
She was a member of the Gate City Presbyterian Church.
Frances leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years, Claude McClellan; sons, Roger, Tony, Jeffery and Jim; daughters-in-law, Kathy, Michelle and Marci; grandchildren, Amy Hilton, Parker, Dylan, Evan and Emily McClellan, Andy, Hunter and Bailey Poff; great grandchildren, Graham and Abigail Hilton; also Geneva Hammonds, Troy and Jack McDavid; Frances also leaves many loving nieces, nephews and a special friend, Betty Cox.
Frances was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
Calling hours are from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Services will be conducted at 6 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Don Muncie officiating. Music will be provided by the Heaven Bound Singers.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2008 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. The family will meet at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Gate City Funeral Home is serving the McClellan family.
