Bobby Ray McClellan, 63, Duffield, VA passed away, Monday, January 15, 2018 at his residence.
Bobby was born in Wise County, VA on October 17, 1954. He was the son of the late Thomas Franklin and Frances Estelle (Stallard) McClellan.
In addition to his parents, his granddaughter, Haylea Marie Hughes; 4 sisters, and 7 brothers preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lillie May McClellan; daughters, Carolyn Carter and Larry Hughes; Peggy Shelton, and Betty Hughes and fiance, Timothy Pointer; sons, Robert Ray McClellan and Richard Thomas and Tammy McClellan; grandchildren, Samantha, McKayla, and Jeffery Carter, Allison, Adam, and Eric Bishop, Kenneth Grizzle, Kaden Bishop, and Derek and Dylan Hughes, and Gracie and Jason Coleman; sisters, Ann Bradley, Jenny Davis, Charlotte Hyman (Bernie), Debbie Ashburn (Jimmy), Peggy Ramey, and Phyllis Killion (Ed); brothers, Delmar “Tub” Meade and Billy McClellan (Tonya); along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel with Mike Lawson officiating.
It was the wish of Mr. McClellan to be cremated following his service.
