Robin Hope McAmis, 57, Church Hill, TN passed away, Sunday, December 29, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Rt. 58, Scott County, VA.
Robin was born in Sullivan County, TN on September 28, 1956 to Margie Hazel Williams Anderson and the late Donald Worley Anderson.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Lee McAmis, Church Hill, TN; daughter, Danielle McAmis and boyfriend, Shane Ryans, Church Hill, TN; son, Andrew "Drew" McAmis and fiancee, Samantha Robbins, Lee County, VA; mother, Margie Anderson, Hiltons, VA; sisters, Karen Venable and husband, Glenn, Bristol, TN and Cindy Carmack and husband, Chris, Bristol, TN; brother, Doug Anderson and wife, Debbie, Blountville, TN; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m., — 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2014 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Eddie McAmis an Rev. Charles Kilbourne officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
She attended Community United Methodist Church and cherished her time spent with the children and volunteers at Terrific Tuesdays. She was loved by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Terrific Tuesdays at Community United Methodist Church, 510 Gibson Mill Road, Kingsport, TN 37660.
