Marie Hilton Mann, 93, Bristol, VA passed away, Monday, October 10, 2011 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Mann was born in Scott County, VA on August 13, 1918 to the late Henry and Mellie Gibson Hilton.
She graduated from Dungannon High School in 1937 and attended Whitney Business School, and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Dungannon, VA. Marie loved life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Mann; infant twins; infant daughter; son, Dale K. Mann; and brothers, Ireland Hilton and Robert Hilton.
Survivors are grandson, Nickey Paul Mann and, Danah, Bluff City, TN; granddaughters, Tracy Patrick and husband, Randy, Lebanon, VA, and Rhonda Kaye Mann; great granddaughter, Lacey Mann, Bluff City, TN; great grandsons, Cpl. Charles C. Curtis, USMC and wife, Stephanie, Camp Lejeune, NC, Ryan Patrick, Lebanon, VA, and Jackson Mann, Bluff City, TN; great great grandsons, Malachi and Gabriel, Camp Lejeune, NC; along with several nephews and a special niece; daughter-in-law, Anna M. Mann Crabtree.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home with a wake service being conducted at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Father Roland Hautz officiating
Burial will follow the funeral mass at the Corder-Mann Cemetery, Dungannon, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
