Betty Jo Mann, 64, Ft. Blackmore, VA was called to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 21, 2014 at her residence.
She was a loving wife and mother.
Betty Jo was born in Scott County, VA on September 8, 1950 to the late Clyde Melvin and Lonnie Millie Flanary Summey.
In addition to her parents, her brother, Melvin Clyde Summey and sister, Irene Sweeney preceded her in death.
Betty Jo is survived by her husband, Larry Mann; sons, Larry Allen Mann, Jr. and Nathan Scott Mann; daughters, Lisa Kay Lawson, Rebecca Ann Elliott and Nichole Lyn Kilgore; brother, Raymond Lee Summey; sisters, Jenny Cassell, Nancy Jane Carter, Susie Owens, Alice May Mann, Debbie Ann Spencer; 9 Grandchildren , 1 Great Grandchild and Sparky; along with several nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m., Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Terry Rhoton and Rev. Walker Darnell officiating. Pine Grove Harmony will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Mann/Begley Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, VA. Jeff Mann, Anthony Mann, Jamie Mann, Phillip Mann, Joey Lawson and Eric Lovell will serve as pallbearers. Tommy Sawyers, Mack Sawyers, Robert Summey and Kevin Anderson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Friends and Family are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
