Danny Lee Lyon, 73, Gate City, VA passed away, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Brookhaven Manor, Kingsport, TN.
Danny was born on April 20, 1941 in Clinchport, VA to the late Dan and Annabel Ray Lyon.
Danny retired from the US Forest Service, Anchorage, Alaska. He was later employed at Natural Tunnel State Park.
He was a lover of nature, a hunter, and a fisherman, who also loved farming.
In addition to his parents, his brother, Kenneth Lyon preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elsy G. Lyon, Gate City, VA; daughters, Ana Maria Lyon, Gate City, VA Eva Daniela Lyon, Gate City, VA, and Laura Lee Lohr, PA; son, Jonathan Lyon, AK; grandchildren, Amanda Lyon, Jacob Lyon, Maddie Lohr, and Hannah Lohr; and sister, Anita Griggs, Kingsport, TN.
