Lois Annabell Lynch, 91, Gate City, VA passed away, Monday, November 25, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Lynch was born in Scott County, VA on October 24, 1922, the daughter of the late Elbert Martin and Maggie Lane Estepp. She was of the Apostolic faith.
In addition to her parents, her husband, George Lynch and sisters Claudia Spivey, Nettie Bartlett, Madge Boy and a special niece Teresa Calhoun preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Williams and husband, Dwayne, Gate City, VA, Joan Barber and husband, Michael, Gate City, VA, Linda Sexton and husband, David, Kingsport, TN, Eva Edwards and husband, Larry, Gate City, VA, Sharon Smith and husband, Greg, Kingsport, TN, and Karen Grizzle and husband, Dennis, Gate City, VA; son, Sherman Lynch and wife, Margaret, Cookville, TN; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brothers, Harmie Estepp and wife, Betty, Gate City, VA and Arthur Estepp and wife, Anna Ruth, Gate City, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Pentecostal Powerhouse. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Adam Williams, Rev. Wes Edwards, and Rev. Evan Grizzle officiating. Her grandchildren will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and her nephews along with Rickey Calhoun will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:15 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
