Lycrecia Smith, 66, Gate City, VA, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at Holston Valley Hospital.

Lycrecia was born in Sullivan County, TN, on October 12, 1956, to the late Joe Roy Smith and Helen J. (Peters) Smith.

In addition to her parents, her brother Darrell K. Smith preceded her in death.

She is survived by her brothers, Roger (Rita) Smith, and Jeffery Smith, Sr.; nephew, Jeffery Smith, Jr.; step-nephews, Jason Kimbler (Terri), Kelvin Kimbler (Rachel), and Amanda Knight (Jamie); and cousin, Linda Shipley.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023, in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. with Rev Coy Butler officiating. Jason Kimbler, Kelvin Kimbler, James Pierson, Jeffery
Smith, Jr., Tommy Musick, Tommy Ray Gillenwater, and Jamie Knight will serve as pallbearers. Friends of the family will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
