Donald Charles Lundy, 68, passed away, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

Donald was born April 21, 1944 in Maryland to Louise and Charles Lundy. He was a member of Mt. Zion Tabernacle Church of Kingsport, TN.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by his Daughters; Ishimae Barnett and husband Andrew of Bethlehem, GA., Isharah Lundy of Weber City, VA., and Amanda Lundy of Weber City, VA., Sons; Matthew Lundy of Yuma, VA., Donny Lundy of Greenville, TN., and Daniel Lundy of Greenville, TN., Sisters; Cynthia Lundy of Weber City, VA., and Sheila Shaffer of North Carolina, Grandchildren; Ashley Lundy, Ben Lundy, Victoria Lundy, Kaitlyn Barnett and Zachary Barnett, Nieces and Nephews; Michelle Taylor, Danielle Wright, Krystal Shaffer, Michael Shaffer, Leighton Simcox, Noel Simcox, and Madeline Simcox.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel at Gate City Funeral Home on Thursday May 31, 2012. The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Lester Turner officiating. Organist Jay Turner will provide the music.

The graveside service will immediately follow at Holston View Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
