Claudia Lucas, 67, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Thursday March 24, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Lucas was born in Ravenna, OH on September 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Robert and Flora Dorland Loomis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step son, Clyde Lucas, Jr. Surviving is her husband, Clyde Lucas, Nickelsville, VA; daughters, Peggy Derring, Dungannon, VA, Kim Lane, Ft. Blackmore, VA, and Sandra Hall, Ft. Blackmore, VA; sons. Troy Lucas, Baltimore, MD, Ronnie Lucas, Dungannon, VA, and Ricky Lucas, Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Douglas Urnick, Terry Urnick, Billy Love, Krisite Love, and Troy Lucas, II; great grandchildren, Landon Williams, Ariana Urnick, Terry Urnick, Jr., Harold Urnick, Tyler Collins, Tabitha Lucas, Troy Lucas, III, with one more expectant great grandchild; sisters, Edie Vaughn, Akron, OH, Sandy Wise, Brimfield, OH, and Debbie Dorland, Akron, OH; brothers, Joe Moskal, Akron, OH, Bobby ;Loomis, Ravenna, OH, and Stevie Moskal, Ravenna, OH; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Dungannon.
A memorial service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Beavers officiating.
