Lizzibe Fritz, 82, Gate City, VA passed away, Sunday , May 12, 2024.

Tootsie was born in Scott County, VA on May 16, 1941, and was the daughter of the late Worley and Fanny Gibson Tomlinson.

In addition to her parents, her husbands, Blaine Coffey , Leonard Fritz, son, Johnny Fritz; daughter, Linda Coffey Carter; sisters, Cora, Ellen, Louise, Sarah, Frankie, and Ethel; brothers, Charlie and Cernal preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry (Penny) Tomlinson, Blaine Coffey Jr. (Trish), Kingsport, TN, David (Kristie) Fritz; daughter, Verna Mae (Scott) Gillenwater, Gate City, VA; brothers, Bill, and Robert Tomlinson; 12 Grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews, and special caregivers who meant a lot to Lizzibe.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am-12:00pm,Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00pm, in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel with Evangelist Garry Hood officiating.

Burial will follow the service at the Adams Cemetery, Duffield, VA. The Grandsons, Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
