She was born in Sullivan County, TN April 10, 1960. She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Rutherford.
She was of the Baptist faith and attended Natural Tunnel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Lee, Duffield, VA; daughter, Lindsey Lee, Duffield, VA; mother, Delena Clendenin Rutherford, Duffield, VA; brother, Phillip Rutherford and wife, Belinda, Duffield, VA; niece, Leslie Addington; nephew, Steven Rutherford; great nephew, Jordan Hughes; great niece, Brooklyn Rutherford; several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Bill Tignor and Rev. Eckel Herron officiating. Music will be provided by Phillip Free.
Burial will follow the service at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Pallbearers will be Carl Williams, Guy Tignor, Wayne Tignor, Bobby Rhoton, Steve Rutherford, and Brandon Addington. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Hughes, Bro. Carl Gibson, Bro. Cecil Kern and Bro. A.J. Lane.
