Teresa Gail Lane, 59, Duffield, VA passed away, Monday, November 14, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Teresa was born in Sullivan County, TN on June 23, 1957. She was the daughter of the late John Harold, Jr. and Doris Jessee (Ingle) Dishner.
In addition to her father, her grandson, James Mackenzie Pope preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Jackie Lane, Duffield, VA; daughter, Cordelia Rae Pope and husband, James, Kingsport, TN and her sons; Emory Mark Dishner and wife, Michelle, Church Hill, TN and Wesley Eugene Bell, Duffield, VA; grandchildren, Ales Morgan Dishner, Jasmine Nicole Dishner, Makayla Lynn Dishner, Dante’ Ray Pope, and Savanah Abigail Pope; sisters, Terry Lee Cox and husband, Ronald, Duffield, VA, Margaret Clara Lane and husband, Clyde, Ft. Blackmore, VA, and Maggie Rebecca Dishner, Duffield, VA; brother, Johnny (Tommy) Harold Dishner and wife, Nancy, Duffield, VA; Quentin Cox, Jeremy Neeley, Amy Dishner, Nathaniel Lane, and James Kern.
The family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Klye Akers and Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. Marvin and Susie Leonard will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the Dishner Cemetery, Cove Ridge, VA. Quentin Cox, Christian Cox, James Kern, Gregory Dennis, Martin Sturgill, and Jeremy White will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Saturday to go in procession to the graveside service.
