Teddy M. Lane, 50 Gate City, VA passed away, Saturday, February 09, 2013 at Wexford House, Kingsport.
Teddy was born January 25, 1963 in Sullivan County, VA to the late James Ira and Beulah Dockery Lane.
In addition to his parents, his brothers, Bobby Lane, Ralph Lane, and Roy Lane preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Lane, Wise, VA; son, Travis Lane, Gate City, VA; sisters, Martha "Katie" Kendrick, Kingsport, TN and Linda Sanders and husband, Glen, Hiltons, VA; brothers, Jimmy Lane, Gate City, VA and Tony Lane, Kingsport, TN; special niece, Lisa Kendrick, Kingsport, TN; along with several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2013 at Gate City Funeral Home.
Per Mr. Lane's wishes his body will be cremated.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Teddy's memory to Midway Baptist Church, Midway, VA.
