Clyde Lee Lane, 59, Ft. Blackmore, VA passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Indian Path Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Wise County, VA on May 11, 1958 to the late Truman and Lillian (Bloomer) Lane.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ann Falin and Rosie Nevles; brothers, Robert and W. H. Lane.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Margaret Clara Lane, Ft. Blackmore, VA; son, Nathaniel Lynn Lane, Ft. Blackmore, VA; sisters, Linda Actons, Bernice Petering, and Rhonda Bertsch, all of OH; brothers, Herman Lane, Duffield, VA and Ray Jackie Lane, Rye Cove, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2018, at Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. Marvin and Susie Leonard will provide the music.
Graveside services will be held immediately afterward at the Family Cemetery in Ft. Blackmore, VA. Wesley Bell, Jack Lane, Christian Cox, Quentin Cox, Jeremy Neeley, and James Kern will serve as pallbearers.
