Mr. Kinkead was born February 2, 1936 in Scott County, VA to the late Clarence Asbury and Nannie Clarice Salling Kinkead.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Irene Edwards, Linda Kay Kern and Georgia Edens.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Kinkead, Ft. Blackmore, VA; two daughters, Debra Kay Bishop, Kingsport, TN, Connie Sue Kinkead, Rye Cove, VA; two sons, Roger Mack Kinkead and wife, Gloria, Surgoinsville, TN and James Anthony Kinkead and wife, Jami, Church Hill, TN; sister, Charlotte Mae Salling Ft. Blackmore, VA; one brother, Bill Mark Kinkead, Ft. Blackmore, VA; grandchildren, Andrew Shuler, Shawnee Shuler, Pam Hall, Rebecca Kinkead, Whitney Clendenin, Candice Kinkead, Matthew Kinkead, Maryssa Kinkead, Breanna Kinkead and Mindy Dean; six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2007 at Salling Cemetery, Slant, VA. Eulogy and music will be provided by Patsy Hensley.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
