Nella Kilgore – Kingsport, TN
Nella Rhea Kilgore, 77, Kingsport, TN went to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 18, 2015 unexpectedly at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was a very active member of Christ Church of Kingsport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Ellen Rose; four brothers, Henry, Jay, Elmer, and Kenneth Rose; and a sister, Norma Bowman.
Surviving is her husband, Fred Kilgore, Kingsport, TN; sisters, Fancy Faxon, Kingsport, TN, Olivene Bowery, Gray, TN, and Mary Sutton, Kingsport, TN; brother, Carson Rose, Upton, WY; a special great nephew, Peyton Cantrell, along with many other nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence or the residence of her sister, Fancy Faxon. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Richard Dice officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2015 at East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Kingsport, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Christ Church Kingsport, 926 Lynn Garden Drive, Kingsport, TN 37665.
