Mrs. Anna Lee Kilgore, 88, Dungannon, VA passed away, Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Kilgore was born in Scott County, VA on December 17, 1922, the daughter of the late James Russell and Mary Elizabeth Mann.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Kilgore; son, David Leon Kilgore; sister, Elsie Ramey, Rosa Baldwin, Clara Collins; brothers, Arthur Mann and Delmer Mann.
Surviving are her nieces, Peggy Howell, Defiance, OH, Shirley McGlothlin, Kingsport, TN, Ann Dodd, Middletown, NY, Barbara Guy, Kingsport, TN; nephews, Charles (Sonny) Mann, Holiday, FL, Ted Ramey, Jr., Weber City, VA, Vincent Mann, Virginia Beach, VA, Clyde (Buddy) Beavers, Dungannon, VA, Larry Beavers, Dungannon, VA, Randy Beavers, Kingsport, TN, and Rick Beavers, Kingsport, TN; her good friend, niece, and helper, Sherry Beavers; and her caregiver, Carolyn Sargent; other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Dungannon, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. by the Rev. Larry Beavers and the Rev. Marty Puckett.
Burial will follow the service at the Childress Cemetery, Dungannon, VA. Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
