Phyllis Hulbert Kay ''Miss Dixie" Phyllis Kay- 86, went home to be with her Lord May 26, 2010 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Born June 22, 1923 in New Hampshire she is the daughter of the late Leslie and Maude Avery Hulbert. She was a homemaker, and loved sewing and had numerous hobbies that she enjoyed. Surviving is a son, James Stanley, Newport Ritchie, FL. Several grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Following her wishes she was cremated with no services following. Gate City Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Phyllis Kay "Miss Dixie".
