Ronald Edward "Bone" Jordan, 54, entered into rest Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at his residence. He was born on April 12, 1955 in Russell County, VA. Survivors include his two daughters, Jacqueline and Alicia Jordan, both of Nickelsville, VA; his wife, Beth Jordan, Nickelsville, VA; parents, Maynard and Esta Jordan, Nickelsville, VA; sister, Connie Jordan, Nickelsville, VA; two brothers, David Jordan, Nickelsville, VA, Randy Jordan and wife, Sherry, Pelzer, SC; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Services will be at 7 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Henry Meade officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2009 at Temple Hill Memorial Gardens, Castlewood, VA. Carson Lawson, Glenn Meade, Ralph White, Clifford Dean, Anthony Parks, and William Johnson will serve as pallbearers. Terry Smith, Daniel Smith, Sam Goins, Randy Jordan, David Jordan, Mody Keith, Drew Meade and Maynard Jordan will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will meet at 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery. Special thanks to Carson Lawson and family, Misti Venette and nurses with Wellmont Hospice and Kingsport Hematology/Oncology staff for their love and care.
