Kyle T. Jones, Jr., 59, Kingsport, TN passed away, Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Kyle was born in Sullivan County, TN on April 10, 1954 to Charlie Ann Horton and the late Kyle Talmadge Jones, Sr.
He was a valve specialist with Tennessee Eastman where he was employed for the past 40 years. Kyle had a love for motorcycles and old cars.
He is survived by his mother, Charlie Ann Horton Jones, Gate City, VA; sisters, Misty Dawn Jones, Kingsport, TN and Charr Leeann Jones, Gate City, VA; brothers, C.B. Jones and wife, Sandy, Nickelsville, VA, Jock Jones and wife, Tracie, Kingsport, TN, and Joel J. Jones and wife, Pamela, Gate City, VA; nieces and nephews, Meagan S. Bardinelli and husband, Joe, Evan Jones, and Cody Jones and wife, Rachel; and great nephews, Greysan and Beckham Bardinelli, and Tucker Jones.
The family will receive friends from 5 -7 p.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Eddie McAmis officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. His fellow Eastman employees will serve as honorary pallbearers.
