Charlie Ann Jones, 80, Gate City, VA passed away, Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Brookhaven Manor, Kingsport, TN.
Mrs. Jones was born in Wise County, VA on December 5, 1934 to the late Charles Richmond and Minnie Rosa Taylor Horton.
Charlie Ann was strong in her faith and loved by all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Kyle T. Jones (2008); son, Kyle T. Jones, Jr.; sisters, Lois Surles, Wanda Horton, Betty Proffer; brothers, Isaac Horton, Ralph Horton and Eugene Horton preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Misty Dawn Jones and fiancé, Don Crawford, Kingsport, TN, Charr Leeann Hammonds and husband, Evan, San Diego, CA; sons, C.B. Jones and wife, Sandy, Nickelsville, VA, Joel Jones and wife, Pam, Gate City, VA, Jock Jones and wife, Tracie, Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Evan Jones, Meagan and husband, Joe Bardinelli, Cody and wife, Rachel Jones; great grandchildren, Tucker and Taylor Jones and Greysan, Beckham and Cora Bardinelli; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Gate City Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel Of the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Hensley officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her “special angels”
