Mr. Jessee was born in Scott County, VA on April, 23, 1943 to the late Lee and Minnie Frazier Jessee.
In addition to his parents, his sisters, Elizabeth Hartsell and May Jessee; brothers, Sterling Jessee and William Jessee preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ann Salling Jessee, Ft. Blackmore, VA; son, Otis Lee Jessee and wife Margaret, Gate City, VA; brothers, Bob Jessee and wife, June, Duffield, VA, Cecil Jessee and wife, Marie, Knoxville, TN, Joe Jessee and wife, Helen, Duffield, VA, Elmer Grady and wife, Francis, Duffield, VA; grandchildren, Otis Lee Jessee, Jr., Milligan Jessee.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m., Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Salling Cemetery in the Slant Community with Rev. Fred Starnes officiating. Patsy Hensley will provide the music.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
The family wishes to give special thanks to his caregivers, Freda Woodward and Sandra Reese for their love and care of Mr. Jessee.
