Jacqueline Neely Hurley – Jonesville, VA
On February 20, 2020 Jacqueline Neely Hurley was called home to be with her Lord and Savior and to be re-united with loved ones who have gone before her.
She had fought a long courageous battle with cancer, armed with her faith and her smile and in the end, Jesus claimed the victory for her.
Jackie was born April 3, 1953 to Isaac Neely and Lillie Belle (Bowen) Neely. She brought so much joy and laughter to her family. She was preceded in death by her mom and dad and also her brother Joe Neely.
She is survived by her loving husband Dwayne and stepsons Edward Hurley, and wife Amanda, and Michael Hurley, wife Emily and granddaughters, Mackenzie and Madison.
Also left to cherish her memory is her sister Thelma Mann and husband Bill, her niece Kimberly Keene and husband Jamie and their children Neely, Taylor, and Dylan, her niece Jennifer Dyer and husband Jacob, and her nephew Jason Mann and wife Elyse and their little ones Avery and Isaac. She is also survived by sister-in-law Gaye Neely, her aunt and uncle Fred and Wilma Bishop and all her cousins, friends, and extended family that she loved dearly.
Jackie was a member of Jonesville First Baptist Church. Her church family was so supportive of her and we will be forever grateful. We also want to thank caregivers and all the other churches, family, and friends who prayed for her, encouraged her, and uplifted her during this time.
