Margie Marie Horton, 70, Duffield, VA passed away, Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Margie was born in Scott County, VA on March 14, 1943 to the late Hustler and Molly Janie Vaughn.
In addition to her parents, her sons, John and Robert Horton; sister, Molly Vaughn; and brother, Ray Vaughn preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Horton and wife, Loretta, Church Hill, TN and William "Bill" Horton, Big Stone Gap, VA; grandchildren, Stacy Hensley, Brandon Horton, Jeremy Horton, and Jordan Horton; great grandchildren, Luna, Lillian, Tyler, Paige, and Haley; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2013 at the residence. Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2013 at Old Midway Baptist Church in the Rye Cove Community of Scott County, VA with Rev. Denny Hass officiating.
