Mary Honeycutt ? Dungannon, VA Mary Kate Mann Honeycutt, 97, Dungannon, VA passed away, Friday, January 18, 2008 at the Brian Center in Weber City, VA following an extended illness. She was born October 1, 1910 to the late William (Will) and Etta Beard Mann. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Carl Honeycutt, one son, Bob Honeycutt, two infant children, one granddaughter, Bobbie Jean Honeycutt Bowman, three sisters, Ollie, Leila and Lillie and six brothers, Henry, Walter, Horace, Newton, Paul and Cary. Her survivors include daughters, Joann Myers, Kingsport, TN, Jane Marcum and husband, Henry, Mentor, OH, Nancy Crook and fianc?, Tom Gilles, Concord, OH, Mattie Tirak and husband, George, Mentor, OH, Gaye Renfro and husband, Jimmy, Kingsport, TN, one son, Glen Honeycutt and wife, Cindy, Christiansburg, VA, sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, special nieces Faye Sanders and Barbara Hillman and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Blessing and Doctor Todd Cassell. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Osborne Cemetery in Dungannon, VA. Grandsons and Granddaughters will serve as pallbearers. Charles Corder, Phil Owens, Randall Owens, Nat Osborne, Darius Hillman, Jim Corder, Randy Dishner and Alfred Mann will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will be meeting at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
