Sharon G. (Clayton) Honea, 82, Kingsport, TN gained her Heavenly wings on Friday morning, October 13, 2017, at her residence in Kingsport, TN.
She was born in Crossville, AL on November 29, 1934 to the late JB and Ollie Clayton.
Sharon loved to listen to and sing gospel music and write poetry. She loved to take rides through the mountains to see nature’s beauty. Her greatest love was being a mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, her husband of 50 years, Wiley Edward Honea; several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
She leaves behind to honor her memory her children, Cathy Pardue, Sheila Stilwell, Paul Honea and wife, Sharon, and Linda Weishaup; several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Clayton and wife, Donna; sister, Wanda Siniard; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Powers Cemetery in Robinette Valley with Rev. Ray Bledsoe officiating.
Family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m. for graveside services.
