Kelly W. Hensley, 86, Castlewood, VA went home to be with his Lord and loved ones Monday, March 7, 2011.
Kelly was born February 3, 1925, and was the son of the late Tom and Clara Calhoun Hensley.
Kelly is retired from Tennessee Eastman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary McDavid and Virginia McDavid and one brother, Arthur Hensley.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Hensley of Castlewood, VA; two sons, Darrel Hensley and wife Rhonda of Lebanon VA, and Danny Hensley and wife Thelma of Hiltons, VA; four brothers John (J.P.) Hensley and wife Grace, James Hensley and wife Betty, Clint Hensley and wife Christine, and Thomas Hensley and wife Eva; grandchildren, Andrew Hensley and fiancée, Kristin Taylor, Melissa Coffey and husband Jared, Chad Hensley and wife Tiffany, and Kelly Hensley; great grandchildren, Alexandria Hensley and Hannah Coffey.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home with Elwood Hall, Orbie Porter, and Joe Roberts officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, 11 a.m. March 10, 2011 at Temple Hill Cemetery in Castlewood, VA. Gray Jr. Bradley, Jared Coffey, Chad Hensley, Kelly Hensley, Andrew Hensley, and Eddie Hurd will serve as pallbearers. The family will meet at the cemetery for the graveside services.
