Peggy Ann Addington Harrison passed away, Friday, October 14, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Scott County, VA and was the daughter of the late Henry Farley Addington, Jr. and the late Ida Lee Larkey Lawson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Harrison, Jr.; step mother, Phyllis Patton Addington; step father, Fred H. Lawson; grandparents, Henry Farley Addington, Sr. and Sophia Mae Quillen Addington, and Thomas Alexander Larkey and Alice Larkey; sisters, Nancy Janice Addington Jones and Helen Margaret (Susie) Addington Fischer, and a brother, John Spencer Addington.
Surviving are her daughters, Deena Ann Duncan and husband, Dan, Colorado Springs, CO, and Brenda Harrison Williams, Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Sloan Mallory Duncan, Carson Caroline Duncan, and Molly Clementine Duncan; sisters, Freddie Sue Lawson and husband, Ralph and Alice Faye Randolph and husband, Harvey; brothers, Charles Patton Addington, Kingsport, TN, Tom Henry Addington and wife, Wanda, Gate City, VA, Henry Farley (Butch) Addington and wife, Sandy, Bel Air, MD, William Frances Addington, New York City, NY, and Anson Wolcott (Buster) Addington, Baltimore, MD; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. A eulogy will be given by Allan Roberts.
Private family graveside services will be conducted at Holston View Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
