Michael was born in Sullivan County, TN on July 26, 1963 to Walter Andrew Hagy and the late Tempie Mae Horne Hagy.
In addition to his mother, his sister, Teresa Hagy preceded him in death.
He is survived by the mother of his children, love of his life, and best friend, Becky, Gate City, VA; his daughters, Jessi Ramey and husband, Joseph, Gate City, VA and Holly Hagy, Gate City, VA; son, Michael Hagy, Jr. and wife, Monica, Kingsport, TN; grandson, Joseph Aiden Ramey, Gate City, VA; father, Walter Hagy, Nickelsville, VA; brothers, Robbie Hagy, Nickelsville, VA, Terry Hagy, Gate City, VA, Anthony Hagy, Nickelsville, VA, and Johnny Hagy, Nickelsville, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Aaron Noe officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the Hagy Family Cemetery on Big Moccasin. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
