Andrew Hagy – Nickelsville, VA
Walter Andrew Hagy age 79 of Nickelsville VA passed away Friday August 26th, 2022, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Andrew was born April 22, 1943, in Tazewell VA, and was the son of the late Andy Mark Hagy and Lucy Luvania Marshall Hagy.
He was a heavy machine operator for many years
He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife Tempie Mae Hagy his son Micheal Hagy and his daughter Theresa Hagy. Brothers John Henry Hagy, J.P. Hagy, Graham Hagy, Bobby Hagy, Guy Hagy, sister Dorothy Hagy Hicks.
Those that remain to carry on his spirit are his sons, Robert Hagy, Terry Hagy Anthony Hagy and Jon Hagy. including his 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He was "Papaw" to so many more.
A special thank you and acknowledgement to his granddaughter Ashley (Flaffy as he called her) for all of her love, time, and efforts to care for her papaw in his last years.
He will be dearly missed by so many! He had dedicated his life to provide for his family. Andrew opened his heart and home to anyone in need.
Andrew found humor in most situations and loved more than anything to share a good laugh. We all should strive to carry on a legacy like that!
It was the wish of Andrew to be cremated with no formal services.
