Mr. Byrl Keith Grimm, 75, Gate City, VA passed away, Monday, December 17, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Grimm was born in Scott County, VA on February 26, 1937 to the late Byrl Vance and Ruth Shelton Grimm. He was retired from Tennessee Eastman.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen B. Grimm, Gate City, VA; daughters, Karen Hammonds and husband, Mark, Gate City, VA and Rhonda Taylor and husband, Mark, Gate City, VA; grandchildren, Aaron , Matthew, Sara, and Colton Hammonds; brother, Johnny Grimm, Gate City, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Larry Tolley officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2012 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Matthew Hammonds, Tony Grimm, Joe Grimm, Mark Taylor, Mark Hammonds, and Brad Grimm will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:15 p.m. Friday to go in procession to the graveside service.
