He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Grimes and Anna Jean Luts Grimes. Including his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Grimes, Dungannon, VA; step daughter, Janet Sue Jones, FL; step sons, Franklin Arthur Pierson and Elton Elmor Pierson, both of FL; sisters, Elizabeth, Michelle, Nancy and Alice Grimes, all of SC; two brothers, Glenn Grimes, SC and Johnny Grimes, Greenville, SC. One Aunt, Eva L. Osterman, Dungannon , VA
A memorial service for Mr. Grimes will be announced at a later date.
