Luella Griffis, 69, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Holston Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Scott County, VA July 20, 1940 to the late Leonard Scott Lane and Nellie Mae Lane. Including her parents, she was preceded in death by his brother, J.C. Lane and an infant brother, Terry Lynn Lane.
Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Troy Williams, Church Hill, TN, Sue and John Noe, Columbus, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby Joe and Ruth Lane, Nickelsville, VA; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the residence of her brother and sister-in-law at Bobby Joe and Ruth Lane, Nickelsville, VA.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Moores Family Cemetery, Taylor Town Community with Rev. William Bowen officiating. The family will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
