Marquita Yvonne Bays Graham, 45, Kingsport, TN passed away, Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Marquita was born in Sullivan County, Tennessee on August 29, 1969, the daughter of Larry Junior Bays and Patricia Blair Bays Gosnell.
Her maternal grandparents, Robert Edward Blair and Willie Ruth Frazier Blair Quillen and paternal grandparents, Manuel Fleetwood “Pete” Bays and Geneva Mae Moody Bays and her step father, Boyce Gosnell preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, James Graham; son, Dakota Lynn Ramey; step children, Richard Graham, Wesley Graham, Ronnie Graham, Missy Hutchinson, and Carol Puckett; father, Larry Junior Bays and wife, Joyce; mother, Patricia Blair Bays Gosnell; sister, Sabina Bays Hagy and fiance, Ray King; nieces, Tanya Hagy Summey and Tonya Hagy Boggs; nephew, Nathaniel Hagy; four great nephews and two great nieces; step mother, Linda Jones; step sisters, LaDonna Rhoton and Debbie Gosnell Matthews and husband, Rev. Randall Matthews; step brothers, Larry Wayne Rhoton, Darrel Gosnell and Keith Gosnell; special step nephew, Austin Matthews; special step niece, Brandy Matthews Bishop; along with several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Strong Cemetery, Gate City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
The family requests donations can be made to Gate City Funeral Home to help with the funeral expense.
